Rockschool offers two formats of the exam; Graded Certificate, which involves performance coupled with technical work, ear tests, etc. and Performance Certificate, which only assesses performance. RSL Awards certificate exams are accredited at par with other exams boards are more widely accepted around the world for Contemporary Music. Rockschool is also the only board to offer Performance, Teaching and Creative Enterprise Diplomas in contemporary music.
